Early morning 5:00am, meet your driver guide and thereafter transfer to Nyungwe National Park,a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the South Western part of Rwanda. The four to five hour drive from Kigali to Nyungwe National Park rewards you with breath-taking nature and wildlife experiences. Upon arrival at Uwinka Park Reception, registration and briefing before heading out for the 2-hour exhilarating Canopy walk. The Canopy Walkway in Nyungwe National Park is a 70m high suspension bridge above the rainforest floor. Visitors get up close with nature and are rewarded with spectacular views; including evergreen mountains and Lake Kivu’s glimmering waters in the distance, amazing birdlife and butterflies.
