Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our designated meet-and-greet lounge host, who will help you with Immigration procedures and luggage collection. Please look for a white signboard with your name. Thereafter, you will be handed over to our waiting driver guide, who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Lodging: Lake Victoria Serena Hotel (Luxury), Entebbe Protea Hotel by Marriott (Midrange) or Airport Guest house (Budget)

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park - Afternoon at Leisure

After breakfast, you will depart from Entebbe and embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park. Known as the primate capital of East Africa, Kibale National Park is home to a diverse array of primates, including chimpanzees. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge followed by lunch, and enjoy the afternoon at leisure taking a stroll around the park whilst immersing yourself in the beauty of the surrounding forest and crater lakes as you prepare for the exciting chimpanzee trekking experience the next day. Dinner and overnight

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will embark on an exhilarating Chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will venture into the forest in search of these playful and intelligent creatures; the closest to Human Beings. You observe their behaviour, listen to their vocalisations and learn about their conservation. After the Chimpanzee trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park; famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. You will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive - Afternoon Boat Ride - Evening Game Drive

Start the day with an early morning breakfast before embarking on a thrilling morning Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the vast savannah plains, keeping an eye out for Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes and Leopards, Giraffes, Hartebeest, Bushbucks, Jackal, hyenas, Oribis, Uganda Kobs and other Wildlife species. Your experienced guide will share insights into the Park's Ecosystem and help spot hidden gems. In the afternoon after lunch, you will enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the Wildlife-rich Kazinga Channel. Marvel at the abundant birdlife, spot Hippos and Crocodiles and witness animals coming to drink at the water's edge. In the evening, embark on another Game Drive, taking advantage of the different lighting conditions to spot more Wildlife. Capture memorable photographs and immerse yourself in the beauty of the African wilderness. After these breath-taking activities, you will then be transferred to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Rushaga Sector and Batwa 'Pygmies' Experience

After breakfast, you will transfer to the Rushaga Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the isolated Ishasha sector, iconic for its tree-climbing Lions. Upon registering at the visitor reception, you continue to the Park with a guide to help you point out the tree-climbing Lions. Rushaga sector is known for its diverse Gorilla families and offers an incredible lifetime Gorilla trekking experience. Upon arrival, you will check in at your lodge followed by lunch. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the cultural heritage of the Batwa 'Pygmies.' Engage with the community, learn about their traditional way of life, participate in their music and dance and gain insights into their deep connection with the forest. Dinner and overnight

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking - Afternoon at Leisure

The highlight of your safari awaits on this day-Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, you will head to Rushaga Park reception for a briefing by experienced guides. Once the briefing is complete, you will set off on your trek into the dense forest. Follow the experienced guides as they lead you through the wilderness, in search of the magnificent Mountain Gorillas. After encountering the Gorillas, you will witness their behaviour up close, observe their social interactions and marvel at their sheer size and strength. This is a truly an unforgettable experience that will leave you in awe of these majestic creatures. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and have the afternoon at leisure, relaxing and reflecting on the incredible primate encounters. Dinner and overnight

Day 7: Morning at Leisure and Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast, you will enjoy a leisurely morning, savouring the beauty of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You may decide to take a nature walk or bird watching safari in the forest or simply relax amidst the natural surroundings and or utilize the lodge amenities including the swimming pool. In the afternoon, you will bid farewell to Uganda and transfer to Kigali; the capital city of Rwanda. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel followed by dinner and overnight. Alternatively, you may decide to undertake the Kigali nightlife tour.

Day 8: Visit Kigali Genocide Memorial and Departure

After a relaxed breakfast on this final day of your safari, you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a place of remembrance and reflection. Learn about Rwanda's tragic history and the resilience of its people. Here you will commemorate the victims of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi and gain a deeper understanding of the country's journey toward healing and reconciliation. After the memorial visit, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, taking with you cherished memories of your remarkable Primate Safari in Uganda.
