Primates

Apart from the typical African safari experiences like viewing wildlife and gorillas, there are other exciting activities to explore in Rwanda and Uganda. One of such activities is tracking endangered primates, including chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and golden monkeys found in national parks like Nyungwe, Volcanoes, Kibale Forest, and Mgahinga Gorilla. These primates live high up in the canopies of the forest, and it’s a breathtaking experience to catch a glimpse of them crashing through the forest after trekking into their territory. The black-and-white colobus monkeys found in Nyungwe are especially attractive with their long, beautiful hair, making them the perfect subject for wildlife photographers.

Wildlife Safaris

Game drives and wildlife safaris bring you to the climax of a typical safari holiday in the wilderness savannah plains of Uganda’s and Rwanda’s national parks and game reserves. Wildlife Game drives though are better enjoyed uniquely and solely as a wildlife tour package, they can as well be combined with Uganda and Rwanda gorilla tours or even incorporate with bird watching safaris plus several other experiences in Africa. Game Drives in Rwanda and Uganda will reward you with exceptional feeling and thrilling magical experience in the wilderness driving through the game early in the morning in custom-made safari vehicles with popups such as the Land Cruisers, Safari Mini-vans, and the larger coaster buses which are comfortable enough while on safari.

A skilled guide can help you spot some of the rarer and harder-to-find species, and provide interesting information about the birds & behaviors and habitats.
