Mbyo Reconciliation Village is located in Bugesera District, near Nyamata, southeast of Kigali. The village can be visited on a day trip from Kigali and is commonly combined with Nyamata or Ntarama Genocide Memorials as part of a guided reconciliation journey.

The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off, private transportation, activity fees, a local English-speaking facilitator, drinking water and local handling charges.
