The package includes hotel pickup and drop-off, private transport, fuel, a driver-guide, activity fees, an English-speaking local guide, lunch, mineral water and local taxes. Personal expenses, insurance, tips and unlisted meals or drinks are excluded.

The tour includes the Shrine of Our Lady of Kibeho, the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, the Our Lady of Kibeho statue and Nyarushishi Hill. Visitors may also attend Mass and have time for prayer and reflection, depending on the shrine’s programme.

The first reported apparition took place in Kibeho on 28 November 1981, when Alphonsine Mumureke said she saw Nyina wa Jambo, meaning “Mother of the Word.” Similar experiences were later reported by Nathalie Mukamazimpaka and Marie Claire Mukangango.
