Be prepared to get up early, eat breakfast, and prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure. You should arrive at the park headquarters by 8:00 a.m. for a briefing from the park rangers, and your driver-guide will arrange the transfer. The park rangers inform trekkers about the dos and don'ts of gorilla trekking during the briefing. You are also assigned a Gorilla family to trek with at this time. In most cases, 8 people trek each group, depending on hiking ability.
Bwindi impenetrable Forest
You arrive in the dense tropical jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to embark on an unforgettable adventure. You trek for about 2-6 hours or more. However, no more than one hour is spent in the presence of the Mountain Gorillas, watching and photographing the family. You then walk back to the park headquarters after spending 60 minutes watching the gorillas. You will be given a Gorilla trekking certificate here.
Your guide transfers you to your accommodation, where you can relax. In the evening, you will be able to watch the Batwa demonstrate their way of life from the comfort of your hotel. They will demonstrate how they used to hunt, cook, and defend themselves in the forest. Overnight at the previous night's lodge
