Overview

Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda and is known as the cleanest city in East Africa. It is also a vibrant commercial centre with a moderate climate all year round. Kigali is a popular destination for tourists and investors from all over the world. Ikaze offers authentic Kigali city tours led by local guides. Our tours can be combined with other Rwanda safaris, such as gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, cultural tours, or birding safaris. We offer both one-day and half-day city tours.

Getting Around Kigali City
Kigali has a fantastic and developed public transportation system that is considered second to none when compared to many other African cities. There are organised designated bus and taxi terminals that make it easy to get around. From 18-seater taxis, coasters, and buses, you can easily find a hassle-free ride to any destination within the city.
You also have the option of walking to some of the sights that may be within walking distance for you. Kigali is a pleasant place to walk with clear walkways. Alternatively, you can take a “moto,” which is a motorcycle taxi, to the various locations you are interested in. However, for the purposes of visiting the different attractions in a day and for this tour, you will take our tour vehicle with an experienced tour guide to the different sites you are interested in visiting while on this Kigali city tour.
