Itinerary
Day One: Kigali City – Volcanoes National Park
A Classic Volcanoes National Park tour to a foreign country, Rwanda is fun with a right travel company like Ikaze Rwanda Tour. Day Two: Golden Monkey Trekking & Twin Lakes
After an early breakfast, drive to the park offices for registration and a briefing. Then, the golden monkey trekking begins! During the journey, learn about the interesting life of this endangered species, often called the “Little Primates” of the Virungas, and enjoy seeing their playful nature as they forage for the freshest bamboo leaves.
When the trekking ends, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the picturesque twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. You can also discover local traditions by visiting a nearby cultural village. Dinner will be served during the overnight stay at your lodge.
Day Three: Gorilla Trekking
After a briefing at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters, the trekking begins! Embrace the amazing adventure of trekking the rare and critically endangered mountain gorillas. Indulge in the park’s fresh rainforest, colorful butterflies, and hypnotic bird songs.
When you reach the gorillas, savor the moment (and take a selfie). Observe how they live, eat, play, and rest. Chilling with a silverback is one of the greatest wildlife experiences on earth. Try it! After the trekking, drive back to Kigali.

Day Four: Kigali
Start your day with leisure or souvenir shopping at the city’s popular handicraft markets. You will then be accompanied to the airport for your return flight.

Best Time to Visit Rwanda
The best time for Rwanda gorilla trekking and other wildlife viewing tours is during the Dry seasons from June to August and December to February. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Rwanda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and one can’t avoid rain completely.
