KIGALI – GISENYI (4 Days Biking the Congo Nile Trail)

Meet and greet your driver early morning. Afterwards, head to the North-western side of Rwanda, about 3-4hours drive from Kigali. A number of selected en route stops will be made for you to admire the natural beauty of Rwanda’s hilly landscapes. Rwanda is one of the best tea growers worldwide. Charming tea estates can widely be spotted when you travel; among others, along the Kivu Belt Road and Congo Nile Trail. On arrival, meet local farmers and enjoy the 2-hour Tea tour experience with Pfunda Tea Cooperative, going through the whole process of tea making, all the way from tea leaves picking to having a cup of hot drinking tea! After this splendid experience, drive 10-15minutes to the city for lunch and later head to your hotel for check-in and overnight at Paradis Malahide hotel.

BIKING RUBAVU – KINUNU (4 Days Biking the Congo Nile Trail)

Your second day will be a great chance to ride your mountain bike for approximately 6hours along and off the shores of the Lake Kivu. After breakfast, adjust your seat at your comfortable level and get prepared together with our guide before you start at 08:00.

Do not worry about the challenging up and down hills, stick on your pedals, the beauty of nature and the smile of people will keep you fresh. End your ride by checking-in at Kinunu guest house, take a shower and have your lunch before you take your nap. After your rest in the afternoon, you can choose to visit a women cooperative around and relax with them handcrafting. Overnight stay at Kinunu Guest House.

BIKING KINUNU – KARONGI (4 Days Biking the Congo Nile Trail)

After one-day experience biking on the Congo Nile Trail, we believe you are on a good pace to wind up and down from Kinunu guest house to Karongi. You will have breakfast at 07:30 and our guide will assist you getting tyres at the right pressure and prepare yourself before you start at 08:00. This will take approximately 7hours to completely finish the whole northern part of the trail. In the evening you can join fishermen for the night fishing experience from 17:30 to 21:00. Overnight stay at Bethany hotel.

KARONGI – KIGALI (4 Days Biking the Congo Nile Trail)

A very good morning with relaxed breakfast. Afterwards, engage in the local cattle keeping and utility in Rwandan society and watch live swimming cows as they move from one island to another in search of fresh grasslands. Lunch, afternoon return to Kigali. Drop-off at your residence and end of the tour.
