3 Days 2 Nights Jinja Uganda Safari Experience

PICK UP FROM AIRPORT OR YOUR HOTEL AND TRANSFER TO JINJA (3 Days 2 Nights Jinja Uganda Safari Experience)

Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, your safari guide from Ikaze Tours will meet you. Having passed immigration and luggage collection you will exit the arrival hall and look out for your guide who will be holding up a signboard mentioning your names and featuring the logo of Ikaze Rwanda Tours. Your Guide will then drive you to Jinja with a lunch stop in Kampala city. The drive will take you about 3 hours depending on the traffic.

On arrival at Jinja, you will have a chance to visit the Source of the Nile; this is where Speke became the first European to see the Nile’s source in 1862. There is also a memorial to Gandhi, as this is where his ashes were scattered. Should there be time, we’ll take a drive through Jinja town itself. Proceed to the hotel for check-in dinner and overnight.

FULL DAY WHITE WATER RAFTING (3 Days 2 Nights Jinja Uganda Safari Experience)

After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on a remarkable adventure with guidelines from a white water rafting pro.
The White Nile has up to seven times the volume of the Zambezi. It thunders between heavily forested islands and then leaps widely into a series of spectacular drops. You will plunge into the rapids and ride the mountainous waves downstream whilst relaxing and swimming in warm pools in the equatorial sunshine during parts of the trip. This is white water rafting at its best!
You will be given an introduction before departing with large rubber boats taking eight people and a guide. A safety boat is accompanying you all throughout the trip so you can enjoy the thrill and exhilaration of world-class white water rafting in the security of knowing that you are in the safest hands.

The river is full of grade five rapids so be prepared to hold your breath when plunging into the rapids! Besides the adrenaline rush the rural scenery along with the river side’s make for an exhilarating day. A delicious buffet lunch on a private island in the middle of the Nile will be served. At the end of the rafting trip, you will meet your Ikaze Rwanda guide again who will pick you and drive you back to your hotel. This evening you will meet your park ranger who will take you on a 2hrs night game drive in search of the big cats. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE (3 Days 2 Nights Jinja Uganda Safari Experience)

This morning enjoy your breakfast and drive back to Entebbe with an en-route Kampala city tour. Kampala city tour gives you a glimpse of Uganda cultural sites, Religious structures, local businesses both up and downtown, market setups, administrative buildings, transportation modes, general infrastructural setups: colonial, modern, meals, hotels and academic centers as well as the religious, political and economic history of the pearl of Africa. Later in the afternoon, your guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight.

Please note that check-in for international flights should be done 2 hours prior to departure of the flight. In the departure hall (after check-in) you will find a small restaurant, a sitting area, and several duty-free shops for your convenience.
